What do you think of when someone says "winter"? Sweaters? The holidays? How about dry skin?
Exposure to the elements in the winter can really damage your skin so you have to take precautionary measures to protect yourself.
1. Moisturize! Probably the most obvious one. I like the Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion, it's huge and inexpensive.
2. Use sunscreen. Even if it's cloudy, UV rays still penetrate the clouds and wreak havoc on skin. I like the Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen, no oily residue!
3. Apply lip balm. There's nothing worse than bumping into a cute guy and trying to talk to him through chapped lips. I like the EOS lip balm, it's adorable!
You may be wondering why I'm doing health posts now on a fashion blog, but I believe that the one accessory anyone can rock is a healthy body. And, of course, a healthy body leads to a healthy heart.
Contrary to popular belief, being healthy does not mean you have to be skinny.
